A $1.5M engineering and design project for a 625,000 barrel oil movement facility. The project included a pump house, exchanger, structural supports, tank foundations for numerous smaller tanks, drainage systems, fire (foam) systems, several thousand feet of piping systems with expansion loops, project management.

  • Provide routing with pipe support details, isometrics and BOM for the following:
  • Crude line from dock to tank inlet nozzle.
  • Suction line from tank to redundant charge pumps.
  • Discharge line from redundant charge pumps to crude unit charge line on north end of tank farm.
  • Spill back from redundant charge pumps to tank jet nozzles.
  • Discharge line from redundant charge pumps to crude line from dock.
  • Recirculation suction from tank to redundant recirculation pumps.
  • Discharge from recirculation pumps to recirculation exchanger.
  • Recirculation line from exchanger to tank.
  • Water draw suction piping from tank to water draw pump.
  • Discharge from water draw pump to oily water tie-in to tank.discharge from sump pump, to oily water tie-in to tank.
  • 150# steam line to recirculation exchanger from 150# steam header.
  • Condensate from recirculation exchanger to sump.
  • Foam station and piping to tank foam chambers.
  • Firewater piping and manifold.
  • Provide pump/exchanger pad
  • Layout pedestals for pumps (6 locations) and exchanger
  • Design sump
  • Provide stairs over piping
  • Provide safety shower and eye wash station on pump/exchanger pad
  • Provide utility station (steam, air and water)
  • Stress analysis of all hot piping systems (>250 F)
